The final three garments have been selected and my storyboards are all done! I am so excited to get started constructing these garments.

The beginning stages

This week I narrowed down my ideas and started thinking of the client I would like to design for. Lauren Graham is such an inspiration as well as Blake Lively. I also started sketching garment ideas for my final three collection pieces.

Introduction

   Oh hello! My name is Jennie Reid. I am a current senior at Kendall College of Art and Design. My areas of study are Fashion studies, Photography and Art history. I have one more year here at Kendall and this semester I am in the senior Capstone Class. I will be drafting and construction my own bridal collection.  My over all theme is vintage romanticism. Follow me on my journey all the way to the final fashion show.

   I just finalized my design boards. Really happy and proud of where this collection is going towards. As always I probably over thought much of begging design process but I can finally say I'm done with the beginning stages.

Sketches

    This collection is taking so much more time to pre-plan than I previously anticipated. I feel like I'm making great progress though. Getting my sketches on a more solid base and determining my audience has been a great beginning exercise but I'm really getting antsy to start with actual construction.

Introduction - Matthew Pozsgay

   Hi my name is Matthew Pozsgay and I'm a Senior fashion-studies major at Kendall College of Art and Design. I'm currently finishing up my final semester which consists of my Capstone Collection. I'm in the process of working in my inspiration and how it's going to tie into my overall collection.
