Fabrics

 The next step of my journey is to choose my fabrics. I have gone with all polyester fabrics for my bridal gowns. My fabrics are all creams with pops of white, and pops of pinks. I have also chosen a few decorative laces and patterned fabrics.

Construction

     I have officially started patterning my first garment, the romper and shawl with detachable skirt. It makes it so much easier to work right on the form.  I have also started my muslins to see how each garment will work on the body. <3 J

New York State of Mind

   It might be a tad bit off topic from my Capstone Collection, but I'm so thrilled about the fact I've been accepted to Teen Vogue Fashion University Program. I'm so honored and grateful for this wonderful opportunity to not only get some extra insight to my capstone collection but possibly further my career to New York. See you next month New York
