Week 14

 This week was the fashion show!  The day was so busy but so incredible.  Thank you to all my friends and family that made that day the best ever.  I'm so grateful for the opportunity to get to share my work with all of my favorite people.  Here are a few photos of that night.  More to come soon!

Week 14!

This week was the fashion show, and we all had THE BEST time! It was such a magical night. All my models were excited, confident, and happy to be wearing the clothing that I had designed for them all. It felt good to be able to share my fashion with the world on Tuesday, and bring smiles to faces. More pictures from the show to come!!

Week 13!

 This week I finished everything in my collection, and prepared for the fashion show!

WEEK 12

 Why hello there!

This week was a whirlwind of Ensemble 3. I switched into full production mode for this look as it is my most embellished look. It is covered in beading, appliques, and crystals.

Week 13

 This week I put up all my work in the hallway together.  It is such a good feeling seeing all of my work together after working on it for so long.  I am getting more excited for the show happening in just a few short days.  

In the next few days I need to make a few alterations to everything and make another set of puff sleeves, as well as work on my final look.  There have been some complications with the fit so I have to start back at the beginning with it.  I can't wait for the show next week.

FLO - week 14

 Hello! I am continuing construction and finishing garments this week.  Got to see the final photos from the collaboration and they look amazing!

    

        

Week 12!

This week I focused on patterning looks 2 and 6 which are my final two looks for the show. After patterning, I cut out everything and started sewing! 

Tuesday was the photography critique from the photoshoot last week, and I was able to get back some of the photos for my portfolio.

I completed the top for look 2, and the pants for look 6. Next week my goal is to finish the shorts and blazer for look 2, and the tailored shirt for look 6 before the show!

Week 12

      This week I worked on look five of my collection.  For the top, I cut it on the fold so that there were no shoulder seams and then I sewed the sides with French seams.

This look fits my model so well.  I am so excited to see it with the rest of the collection.

FLO - week 13

 Hello!  this week I finished up the jewelry I was making for Zoë's collection.  It turned out beautifully! I even decided to combine our brand names into a logo to make some stickers.  

I also made tags for all my garments, using illustrator and iron-on transfer paper.  The puffy shirt for my 'Rejuvenate' look was cut and sewn this week as well.
