This week was Week 14, and also, our third ensembles were due earlier in the week. To finish up my ensemble, over the weekend, I constructed the jacket and pants, after securing the beaded pieces to the surface of the pants and bodice pieces. Then, I finished off the details and turned them in, along with our designer briefs! Here are some photos to show how the third ensemble was constructed, as well as how it turned out:

Avery Compton - Week 13
Week 13 of this process was the week of Nov. 19-25th, and during this week, I was finishing up the hand beading. I would've loved to do so much more beading, but the process takes forever and I could be beading until next year if I was allowed for this ensemble. After finishing the beading, I cut out the appliqué pieces and used a spray fixative to place the pieces where I wanted on each fabric piece. I then stitched them down with an invisible thread to secure them.
Avery Compton - Week 12
Week 12 was the week of Nov. 12-18th, and during this week, I was in the early stages of constructing my third ensemble. I was cutting out patterns, doing a lot of hand beading, constructing and fitting a mach-up of the ensemble, and putting together the bodysuit (pictured below).
Avery Compton - Week 11
Week 11 was the week of Nov. 5-11th, and during this week, I started working on my third and final ensemble that I will be creating for this collection. My third ensemble will consist of a white knit bodysuit, a blue sheer organza jacket, and blue sheer organza wide-legged pants.
Here are the illustrations and flats that I've created for this ensemble:
I have also picked out the fabrics for this ensemble, as well as made and cut out my patterns. I will be hand sewing a bunch of beaded details onto the embroidered fabric, and then I'll cut them out and sew them to the surface of the jacket and pants. Pictured below are my fabrics:
