Reese Westmaas- Introduction

 Hello! My name is Reese Westmaas and for my capstone collection I am creating sensory friendly garments. The name of my collection is rabbits clove and it is S/S25.

Reese Westmaas- Week 7

 I have been working on finishing my Alexander McQueen inspired project by fixing the fit to make it more form fitting and adding the pleated mesh around the bust. I also started adding center front buttons as my closure and beading the straps. During critique it was pointed out that my dress is a bit too short for the mannequin so I am going to add a feather trim to the bottom. It works out perfectly because McQueen was inspired by birds and used bird motifs a lot in his designs.
