The introduction

Hello, my name is Abigail Lehman, I am the creator of Lawrence. This year I am working on my senior capstone called  Norma , Norma is an inclusive women’s wear collection showcasing business to formal wear. Norma was made with my godmother Norma in mind. She was a special education teacher in the small village of Nocona Texas and worked with children with all different kinds of abilities. This collection has her special style but with adaptive and inclusive designs she would have loved.

Here are the designs so far....

CYRK: Transience in Bloom - Week One

Hello everyone! My name is Linnea Frantz, and I am the designer for my brand CYRK. CYRK is a women’s fashion brand that provides comfortable clothing without sacrificing style. We prioritize the use of natural fibers and deadstock designer fabrics, when available and appropriate, to minimize our environmental impact. CYRK also implements sensory-inclusive design in some of its styles to make stylish clothing more accessible to those with differing sensory needs.

Transience in Bloom Mood Board

My debut collection, titled “Transience in Bloom”, draws inspiration from a Slavic myth that explains the changing of seasons. The goddess of spring and fertility, Zhiva, turns into the goddess of winter and death, Marzanna. One cannot exist without the death of the other. How does climate change impact their story? Life and death exist in the same breath and lack thereof.

Full Transience in Bloom Collection

This collection serves as a warning of the dangers of climate change while also finding a silver lining in these daunting times. Finding beauty in uncertainty is how we instill hope and find the courage to create a better future.

VIER Week 1: Intro

Hi, I'm Hannah Vierheilig the creator of VIER.

VIER is an independent fashion brand exploring the intersection of experimentation, history, and self-expression. VIER creates clothing that balances innovation with intention—blending youthful creativity and vintage inspiration into garments that feel distinct, wearable, and artful. My capstone collection is titled "Dogface" and draws inspiration from dogs and themes of loyalty, rebellion, playfulness, and social hierarchy through design. I'm very excited to share this journey with everyone!

Nicole Introduction

 Greetings!

My name is Nicole Nelson and I am the creator of Nicole Designs

The collection I am making is called Eccentric Nostalgia and it's inspired by childlike wonder and living life boldly. Focusing on mix and matching patterns creates a sense of freedom and play that can be forgotten about as we grow up. Finding happiness as an adult is remembering what it is like to look at the world as a child again, and this collection embodies that.

Follow along my journey of creating my Capstone Collection.

Inzayne Creations Week 11

 Week 11

I am also almost done with another full ensemble. I finished the layer flannel skirt and hand embroidered the whole waistband. I also finished the base of the corset and have slowly been working on finishing the hand embroidered appliqués.

I've been going through and added all my tags into previously finished garments and adding some extra hand embroidery and patches. This upcoming Wednesday is the photoshoot so I'm really trying to grind out the rest of my collection.

Inzayne Creations Week 10

 Week 10

Here is the finished Subtraction cutting dress, I've decided I won't be putting this garment into my collection just because I feel like it doesn't fully match the vibe of everything else. Maybe if I find a model that fits in it really well I might add it into my collection... but for now It's not my favorite.

I also edited my corset pattern for Lex's corset. I made all the changes on new pattern paper and cut out all the pieces for the final corset to start next week. I also continued to embroider the face patches for the rest of my ensembles.

I also finished printing my costume fabric for my couture project! I'm hoping to add some of this fabric into my collection.

Inzayne Creations Week 9

 Week 9

This week I went back to one of my older projects, the plus sized corset and layer mini skirt. I had my model come back in for a fitting to make sure the muslin fit perfectly.

The skirt fit really well but the top had to be taken in about an inch and a half. I'm really happy with the fit and I can't wait to start working on the final version of this outfit! I also started my subtraction cutting dress this week. The process of subtraction cutting was really confusing to me and as of right now I don't think I'm very happy with the direction that my dress is going... I might not put it in my Capstone collection.
