Red Pink: Week 11

This week our capstone banners and completed garments have been put up for display in the hallway. I love how my banner turned out! It's very satisfying seeing it in large format. It's also gratifying to see my garments looking lovely on mannequins with actual heads and arms. Work continues on ensemble three. I'm hoping to have a very productive weekend! 

 

VIER: Week 11

 Today we set up our Capstone banners and our mannequins in the hallway on the 3rd floor. So, a little backstory on the process of making my banner. On Tuesday, we met online and my computer kept crashing, so on Wednesday I had to use my father’s work computer and i spent almost the whole day redoing the work I had done before my computer crashed. However, I am so happy with how it turned out!

Nicole: Week Eleven

 Hello, 

This past week has been a busy one. We worked on our posters and continued to work on more looks for our collection. I finished my third look and am on to my fourth. For the fourth look I gathered all the tool and now have to attach a waistband and make the under dress for it! Below are some process pics from the past two weeks!

Week 13 Capstone Collection Photoshoot !!!

Got to working on my fourth ensemble as I love the way she came out, so happy with the finale look. I think of her this way too, not even going to lie lol. 

Here they all are on the mannequins, as you can see on the far right side i am starting my 5th garment.

Here were my three main pieces for this collection, as they got a photo all together this shoot was everything. A huge thank you to Caden for really capturing my vision for this shoot. 



 

Week 12 Completing Garments

 Finishing final details on my garments as I have 3 completed so far! Added my leather straps to my jacket im so happy with how she came out. 

Currently getting ready for my senior exhibition i'm very excited for that as I'm putting the final details on some of my garments!!

Week 11 The Ferris Fashion show

 Here are my garments, as one is my third ensemble, but the dress is my fifth garment that my model caitlyn modeled in the show. As I was giving input in my slit, being too as that was something my model liked ill be adding that chain that I have going on throughout to the slit of my dress.

As for her dress, when she fitted it the day before the show, she loved the slit as I told her. The show I will be putting on May 4th will get a red lining along with the. chains to hold the slit.

My models and I had a great time at the show, as we grew a closer bond that night!! They looked absolutely amazing in their garments!!

CYRK: Transience in Bloom - Week 10

 Today we met with the photography students and began our collaboration. Some of my photographer’s projects can be seen in the image above. They like darker and moodier photoshoots, and that is exactly what I’m going for.
