It has
been a while since my last blog post about my final collection. Last post I was
in Europe on our fashion trip. This trip was an amazing adventure full of
fashion, art and history. I experienced many new things on this trip and hold
all sorts of new inspiration for my future in the fashion industry.
When we
got back from Europe it was time for spring break- although it was not much of
a break for me. I worked all break to both catch up and get ahead.
We are
a week back from spring break and I have finished my jumpsuit for the second
look (which is due Thursday) and am currently working on the jacket that will
go over it. I also worked on a bodysuit for another look, which I am finishing
up.
Along
with my collection and other classes, the planning of the fashion show is
coming together. I am figuring out the music I want my models to walk to and
other show details. I am one of the merchandise coordinators for the show, so I
have been selecting accessories to order, establishing a hair and make up plan
and selecting garments that will be shown on the runway.
I am
back in the swing of things and at a fast pace! I am getting more and more
excited to see my full collection and all my hard work pay off the day of the
show!
