To everyone reading,
I wanted to start off by saying thank you for returning. If we're being honest, remembering to blog every week is harder than one would think. That being said, lets jump right into where I left off on the last post.
To start, for those who don't know, our (KCAD's) Fashion Capstone is based on the idea in which the seniors participating are asked to fabricate a small fashion show based on their own authentic idea. For me, that idea is loosely based on the concept of fashion and technology. Diving deeper, I hope to use this small collection as a message to show how a garment doesn't need to buzz or beep to be considered a futuristic garment. I hope to achieve this through innovative pattern making, the incorporation of magnets, and possibly some 3d-printing.
Another post will be out soon with some images to help explain this concept a little better. This is all for now.
