Smell the Roses collection -
This week I worked on refining my mood board, as well as creating a hair and makeup board for the show.
I patterned look number five (which consists of a vest and shorts) and cut out all my pattern pieces in blue velvet. The lining to the vest, as shown in the photo, is red silk. The vest is currently in the process of being sewn (I’m about halfway there!).
Next, I began patterning look number one, which is a princess seam dress. After draping the dress on my form, I moved on to patterning. After the patterns for look one were complete, I moved on to cutting out the pieces out of extra fabrics from previous projects to make a mock-up.
