WEEK 3

 Welcome back, 

This week was comprised of creating my toile prototype for ensemble 1, building a color palette, gathering materials, and playing around with some embellishments. 

After fitting the toile to my model, some minor adjustments needed to be made. Taking the waist in slightly and altering the neckline and straps. 

Here is my color palette that I swatched from my concept collage. Deep, yet soft tones with a natural, dusty expression. 

Shown here are my gathered materials and notions so far. I am happy with how they all look together and I am excited to bring them to life. 

I decided to start playing around with embellishments and begin to explore different options for application. Here I am comparing different shapes and sizes of crystals.
